In February 2023, I felt God place a calling on my life to write. I was in the middle of OCD struggles, anxiety, temptations, and questions about God. It was a mentally tumultuous time. Through the struggle, God was there. He used those hard times to draw me closer to Him, and give me answers to a lot of the questions I had.
That call to write led me to create this site in the hopes of sharing what Jesus had done in my life with others. I hoped maybe someone would read something I wrote and be encouraged.
Fast forward to the summer of 2024. I still felt a call to continue writing and had a deeper desire to work on a book. Over the next several months, it’s hard to describe how exactly this book came to life. I documented all the major milestones as the book came together. Now having read the finished product and looking back at this entire process, I truly believe I see God at work helping me through it all. On my own I would have never been able to complete this, but God helped me see it through.
My prayer for this book is that there will be at least one person who reads it and comes away encouraged and closer to Jesus. This writing process has been a blessing to me personally, and all the chapters in this book are life lessons I need to be reminded of every day. Writing this book has increased my faith in God and has given me more peace of mind than I’ve ever had. Yes, there are still struggles each and every day, but there’s now an underlying peace I’ve not experienced before.
